China - Food~

Of course I cant miss the food here in Beijing! The first thing I went and tried is the Peiking Duck a.k.a Roast Duck. This shop is opposite of the Tian An Men Square.

Fried Long Bean. Yummy

Chicken with Vinegar and Sugar. Yummy yummy!

And.......the main course, PEIKING DUCK!

Thigh meat

The Skin

Chest meat

Other ingredients

You can mix and match the ingredients with the meat and eat with popiah skin. Or eat the meat with rice. I personally like it with popiah skin~ yum yum yum yum yum yum yummy!

The next thing I tried is Si Chuan dishes, which is famous for its spiciness.

Dried Chili Chicken

Fried Tong Fen

MaPo TauFu

Take a look at the amount of dried chili they put! Forgot the name of this dish. You can call it dried chili soup if you want.

This is the only non spicy food we ordered.  Pickled Cabbage Soup with Fish

Si Chuan dishes not only HOT, some of the ingredients in the dishes numb your lips and tongue too! Quite an interesting experience. If you can take spicy food, must give this a try!

This is a shop at HouHai. It has 100+ years history. So we went in and give it a try.

 Sweet Sour Prawn

Its signature dish, Grilled Lamb

ABALONE!

Dessert - Fried Ice Cream and Yellow Bean Cake

Food in Summer Palace
 Cuccumber and TauFu

Noodle with Tomato Soup

Ohya.. I celebrated Mid Autumn Festival in Summer Palace too!

Basically I like them all! You can give them a try too!

China - Great Wall!

Beijing, China has always been one of the "Must GO" places in my list. I was super excited when I know that my boss approved my course registration in Beijing!
Flight Ticket - Free
Accomodation - Minimal
Dream Come True Experience - Priceless. Hehe.

The section of Great Wall that we went is MuTianYu. It is 2 hours away from Beijing city.

It was drizzling the morning we went there. But once we step on Great Wall, we forgot all the hassle that we went through.

Alternative for going down~~
